Additional energy losses and greenhouse gas emissions are generated during the extraction, transportation, and processing of natural gas.<br>\u2022 synthetic natural gas: Can be combusted in energy converters with the same efficiency, without greenhouse gas emissions.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Methane emissions and environmental damage<\/strong><br>\u2022 fossil natural gas: Apart from CO\u2082 emissions, methane emissions occur, which contribute further to global warming.<br>\u2022 synthetic natural gas: Manufactured from renewables, thereby reducing natural methane emissions and environmental degradation.
